Evgeniy Dvoretckii, an illustrator who is well known by his incredible pictures in many-colored scotch, has opened the door of his apartment and some horrible details of his everyday life for us.

Fil Dunsky lives in St Petersburg but his pictures look as if he has drawn them in Bali or in Thailand. Neither his apartment nor his life has any signs of the perfect despondency of St Petersburg.

I live in a small apartment in the suburbs of Berlin. It’s very safe and comfortable. Berlin is a very green place but it’s even greener here, and you can smell pines at night. However, I don’t smell the pines but my shining clean neighbors leaving for work early in the morning. In the evening you can often see foxes, hares and even wild boars.

Varya Alyay’s apartment is like both Varya Alyay’s museum and her world of artistic illustration. Varya, her son Larick and a pure-blooded dog Bobick live there. There are also different dolls, old and new toys, unusual tableware, pictures and furniture. And plenty of ruddy red things.
